If you mastered the dogleg to the left on the last hole, you are now challenged with a more severe dogleg to the right. The trees planted 25 years ago on the right-hand side of the fairway mean your drive must be accurate, otherwise you are likely to be blocked out or even having to play out sideways. At the same time, be careful not to run out of fairway on the left. Very long hitters sometimes try to clear the copse but the safe line is left centre, requiring a slightly longer approach into a semi-blind green that slopes away from you towards out of bounds just through the back. The large fairway bunkers 80 yards from the green are usually only a visual deterrent.
